Haruko TANAKA
About Me
I was born in Osaka and moved to Mie, known for its beautiful nature, when I was a teenager. After working for a manufacturing company, I went to Canada on a working holiday and also had short homestay experiences in the UK and Fiji. I love not only sightseeing, but also experiencing local food, daily life, and culture in each place I visit.
I’m now a mother of two and enjoy a lively, busy life. I love spending time in nature, and I offer experiences such as relaxed walks to a waterfall where we enjoy homemade Japanese bento, as well as kokedama (moss ball) making workshops!
Appeal to Travelers
As your guide, I aim to share warm and friendly experiences, so you feel like you are visiting a Japanese friend.
I hope to see you soon!

Masanori KANDA
About Me
I was born in Iga City, Mie Prefecture.
I spent about 7years living in Utah, USA, during my student years.
That’s when I got into motorcycles; I joined the Utah Sports Bike Association and spent Great time with Americans.
After returning to Japan, I learned the travel business at my family’s travel agency, and I’m now working in the tourism industry here in Nabari City, where I’m dedicated to revitalizing the local community.
Taking the COVID-19 pandemic that began in 2020 as an opportunity, I launched an inbound tourism business, and with the support of many local residents and others, I’m happily moving the business forward.
It happened over 30 years ago, and since I didn’t speak much English back then, I find it hard to remember the details every day.
Message to Travelers
While Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto are major cities in Japan, authentic Japanese culture can be found in the regions.
Through our tours, we aim to convey Japanese culture and the spirit of hospitality, and we offer tours that allow you to interact with local residents.
Hokkaido Region
Wakako SHOJI
About Me
Born and raised in Hokkaido. I have experience in restaurant management and worked in the chocolate retail industry for 15 years. In 2019, I obtained my National Licensed Tour Guide (English) certification. That same year, I worked as a tour guide for Grand Circle Tours in the United States. Currently, I am active as an inbound tour guide specializing in bar crawls, golf, and private luxury tours.
Appeal to Travelers
What I love most about being a tour guide is listening to the stories of guests from all over the world. That’s because I’ve never lived abroad or studied overseas myself.
I specialize in food and drink tours, and I’m passionate about providing life-changing travel experiences.
Aomori and Tohoku Region
Mayumi ITO
About Me
I am from Hirosaki City in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
After working as a nurse, I went to Perth, Australia to study English. After that, I returned to Japan because I wanted to support and guide travelers who love Japan and visit from overseas. I then worked in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, mainly as an inbound tourism coordinator and interpreter guide.
Now, I live in my hometown of Hirosaki, and I hope to help you create unforgettable travel memories.
Message to Travelers
Aomori and the Tohoku region have unique cultures and histories that are quite different from other parts of Japan. Surrounded by both mountains and the sea, the region also has a rich and diverse food culture. There are even traditions and lifestyles that have developed because of the heavy snowfall in winter.
Each season brings its own beauty and attractions, so I hope you will come and experience Tohoku throughout the year.
